Teton Homes Market Methodology and Sources

See how Teton Homes dates, sources, explains and qualifies Jackson Hole and Teton County housing-market information.

Methodology updated September 11, 2026

Transparent by design

Every number needs a period, place and source.

Teton Homes does not operate an MLS and does not present market summaries as property valuations. We organize dated information from identified sources, explain definitions and preserve report pages so readers can see when information was published.

Market conditions change. A useful report states what was measured, when it was measured and what the source says about reliability.

01

Period

Each report states its closing date. Midyear 2026 means January 1 through June 30, 2026—not current conditions after that date.

02

Geography

The principal report summarized in this section covers Teton County, Wyoming MLS areas 1–10. It does not include Teton Valley, Idaho or Star Valley unless a future page expressly says so.

03

Definitions

Closed sales, active listings, pending transactions, average price and days on market measure different things. We avoid treating one statistic as a complete market conclusion.

04

Source

Figures remain attributed to the report that published them. Readers receive a direct link to the original source wherever specific numbers appear.

Corrections and updates

If a source revises a figure, Teton Homes may update the affected page and change its modification date. Earlier report URLs remain in the archive rather than being overwritten by a later reporting period.

Put the numbers to work
