How the estimate works

Keep every tax assumption editable.

Wyoming generally assesses residential and other property at 9.5% of fair market value, then applies the combined mill levy. A mill is one dollar per $1,000 of assessed value. Parcel classifications, values, levies and exemptions can change.

2026 owner-occupied scenario

The optional scenario models a 25% exemption on the first $1 million of fair market value. Eligibility and a timely affidavit are required; verify current rules before relying on it.
